Assigning a task to user

The user assignment option is configured in the Tick admin panel. This feature is enabled by default. JIRA admins can enable or disable this feature. Click here to read more about the admin panel configuration.

Just like with a JIRA issue, you can assign a task to your desired JIRA user from the same project. Each task has an action button next to the checkbox in the left corner of the task. By clicking it, you will open the user picker, which allows you to search for JIRA users and assign the task to them, as demonstrated in the images below.
Email notification
Transitioning a task to a different assignee will trigger an email notification to both parties. However, notifications can be enabled or disabled by the JIRA admin.
