Validating that all tasks are finished

This feature is only available for company-managed (classic) projects.
💡
This feature depends on custom fields, which can be enabled by a Jira admin.

This validator prevents a transition if not all the tasks are finished.

Setup guide

Workflows

Navigate to Project Settings > Workflows.

Edit

Click the pencil icon to edit the workflow.

Transition

Select Diagram mode and click on the transition where you want to add the validator.

Validators

Click on Validators.

Add a validator

Click on Add validator.

Select Validates that all tasks are completed

Select the Validates that all tasks are completed (validator provided by Tick) and click Add. workflow Validates that all tasks are completed marked in red

Add

Click Add to confirm creation of the validator.

Publish

Click Publish draft to apply the changes.

Tesing validator

Test the validator by attempting to transition an issue which does not meet the criteria. The transition will fail.
